Christine Taylor @ Albrey Heath fircroft, Surrey

The exhibition takes place in the house that was used in the film ‘Brimstone and Treacle’, now it features work from a vast range of artists including designer goldsmith and diamond expert Roger Elliott, who will be showcasing the Oyster one carat diamond pendant and matching ear-rings, as worn by Dame Judi Dench; Frank Taylor, John Maltby with his ceramic sculpture and Debbie Timperley with her glassware. First time exhibitors will include Hanah Firmin, printmaker and illustrator who won the Best Book Cover of the Year at the British Book Awards for her cover of Alexander McCall Smith’s book “The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency.” She illustrated the rest of the series. Her father Peter Firmin, together with the late Oliver Postgate, created characters such as Bagpuss. 

Outside Art @Russells quarry garden and Avondale library garden, Coventry

An exhibition of more than 20 artists, situated in the delightful surroundings of the library garden bursting with rare and unusual perennials and exquisite ornamental grasses. Extending into the 6-acre quarry garden filled with babbling brooks, ponds and waterfalls. Steve is displaying a range of work to creatively compliment the stunning backdrop.

Great Yorkshire Show @ Harrogate

July 13th- 15th

The 152
nd show this year, the country’s leading agricultural event takes place in Harrogate, bringing a range of country life to the popular Spa town: livestock, fashion, show jumping, farmer’s market, art pavilion and much more. Situated in the Arts Pavilion, Steve Blaylock will be exhibiting a collection of sculptural pieces along side artists such as Steve Lingham- wildlife artist and Les Packham- watercolor artist. 152nd great Yorkshire show

Horticap @ Bluecoat Wood Nurseries, Harrogate

September 2010 date TBC- One man Show- Steve Blaylock

Horticap is based at Bluecoat Wood Nurseries where suitably qualified staff and a team of volunteers provide adults with learning disabilities training in horticulture, allied crafts and rural skills. Steve will be creating an interesting exhibition, watch this space.
